I had a nice artisanal cheese platter and hung out with some cats. The place is a rescue spot for cats with a little cafe, with most of the cats available for adoption. I can’t have cats in my building so this was a nice place to hang out with some. The staff was a little surprised that some of the more timid cats came over and hung out with me. I guess I just have a way with the little critters. My ex does petsitting and I  would occasionally go out with her. Some of the cats that hated everybody would respond to me for reasons unknown, and even one of her antisocial little buggers let me pet her, much to my ex’s amazement. I’m sure if I was allowed to have cats at home I would be that crazy cat guy, adopting more than I should...

This is quite cool! 10/10 I would support a place like this.

I really want to go to one of these sometime....I think there’s one in Halifax an hour from me, but I haven’t made it there yet! Looks like fun! :D

There is at least one of these in Charlotte, but also a few dog bars, where patrons’ dogs can roam around off leash, some being adoption fosters. Those dog bars helped me and the missus survive between dogs.

There’s one in my area, but they only offer coffee, tea, beer, and wine. That’s where my wife found our youngest cat. She likes to take her niece there and I always tell her she’s not allowed to place a to go order.

A lot of them were pretty fun to mess around with. Little scratches or bites, but in a playful way. It wasn’t defensive or an attack, just them having a some fun with me as their chew toy. I didn’t mind in the least.
